💫 Become a Digital Buddy (Arabic Speaking) in the Erasmus+ project

Are you an Arabic speaker between 18 and 30 years old, a student or recent graduate – and smart with your phone or laptop?

Starting August 1st, we're launching an exciting new Erasmus+ project in Utrecht to help seniors use digital tools more effectively and confidently. For this project, we're looking for 15 enthusiastic young people (18–30 years old) to work as Digital Buddies .

Are you our Digital Buddy Ambassador?

Are you handy with your phone or laptop? Or are you a social media expert and want to teach seniors how to connect online without falling for scams? Then this is for you! You don't have to be an expert – if you're patient, a good listener, and enjoy helping people, we'll teach you the rest.

Good to know! You'll receive training before you start, so you can get started with confidence!

What are you going to do? 📱

• You're the host! You'll lead fun workshops and digital get-togethers for Arabic-speaking seniors.
• You create a pleasant atmosphere and learning fun with quizzes, Kahoots and digital puzzles
• The topics? Think: staying safe online, using your phone smartly, or how to shop online without hassle.
• You answer questions, solve minor digital problems and are a calm, listening ear
• You do this together with a warm and enthusiastic team - together you ensure that everything runs smoothly

What do we offer?

• You are between 18 and 30 years old and speak Arabic well
• You are sociable, organized and like to take responsibility
• You have an overview and enjoy dealing with people
• You are available 3-4 hours per week (flexible)
